歌手林宥嘉2016年底向女友丁文琪求婚，7日宣布小倆口已經登記結婚，感情世界甜蜜蜜，不過與前女友鄧紫棋一段已逝的戀情，仍三不五時被重提，沒想到18日又被爆出，女方曾痛批他的「麥當勞年夜飯」事件，其實是女生自己突然在除夕夜現身他高雄老家，讓他和他的家人有些不知所措。

據《壹週刊》報導，鄧紫棋2014曾在私人臉書細數林宥嘉「5罪狀」，直批對方懦弱、虛偽，過年還推媽媽和弟妹出面，請她吃麥當勞就結束，這段發言讓林宥嘉當時被狠批是「不負責任的男人」，沒想到事隔近3年，竟有爆料指出，其實當天並非「雙方家人約好吃飯」，而是她一心想挽回林宥嘉，才會突然從香港跑到男方高雄老家。

據爆料指出，林宥嘉和鄧紫棋感情已進入冷戰階段之時，女方為了挽回，特地在過年期間從香港飛到台灣，除夕當天直奔高雄，到達高雄之後，女生才打電話跟他說要去家裡吃年夜飯，和他的爺爺、奶奶見個面，突然的「驚喜」讓林宥嘉有些不知所措，只好請媽媽出面。

對此，林宥嘉所屬的華研表示「不回應」，鄧紫棋經紀人則駁斥「虛構的，完全沒這回事。」

事實上，鄧紫棋曾透過紀錄片《一路逆風》回顧這段感情，鄧紫棋的好友說她把感情看得很重，無奈遠距離戀愛，很多問題是電話無法說清楚的，最後愛情證明只是她一個人的想像。有關重提舊愛會不會掀起爭議，她認為什麼都不說、不做都會引起非議，「我不如說出來。即使是太陽同時間都只有地球的一半可以看到，我為什麼要祈求大家都能第一時間看到真相呢。」

如今，鄧紫棋得知林宥嘉登記結婚，除了大方獻上祝福，也坦言日後若自己談戀愛，都要保持低調。至於與林宥嘉分手後，是否還有與其他人交往過？她也拒絕回答，「這個就是我在那段關係學到的事」，她表示，以後無論是否有交往對象，都不會對外界公開，「直到我結婚」。
